Use of the womb.love Yoni Steam Throne Seat and Inner Glow Yoni Steam Botanicals constitutes an agreement that the person/people using these products have read an understood the warnings and disclaimers outlined here. Vaginal Steam Contraindications and Precautions
Contraindications
When steaming should not be done, with womb.love or any other equipment or services, under any circumstances:
Pregnant women or those that could be
After ovulation if trying to conceive
During menstruation or active bleeding (including spotting)
Heavy bleeds (this would need to be looked at and addressed prior to steaming)
Women with an internal/ active infection
Women with open sores
Women with any cervical, uterine or ovarian inflammation
It’s generally advised for women with an IUD not to steam
Precautions
Users are suggested to exercise caution at all times whilst Yoni Steaming. Test the temperature of the steam with the back of your hand, before exposing the vulva and vagina to the heat.
It should feel comfortably warm, and if, upon sitting above the steam it is too hot, users are advised to immediately move away from it.
It is important that all materials used for a yoni steam are food-grade and are fully and completely sanitised before and after using
The bucket or pail must be placed on a flat, solid surface or ground.
The glass or stainless steel bowl with the herb mixture and hot water is placed carefully into the bottom of the bucket or pail to ensure it is not dropped or spilled.
The seat must be firmly secured using the indentations on the underside of the seat around the rim of the bucket or pail.
It is recommended for the user to sit down on the middle of the seat. The point of the heart should be between the legs, in line with your pubic bone and the back of the seat is the curve of the heart. You may wish to readjust your sit bones and bottom flesh to find a comfortable place where the steam is directed towards your perineum (vulva, vagina and anus area).
Be careful to maintain an even weight over the seat, to prevent it toppling.
